Frequently Asked Questions
- What is a Trailer?
- When you think of trailers, you probably think of movies, but with the emergence of video online and on handheld devices, and the emergence of home video
editing tools the definition has gotten much wider.
- Clickwheel Trailers are, like movie trailers, a preview or a tease for another product, be it a movie, a video game or even a comic. It can be a movie file
or a
PDF. (We currently do run trailers as iPod comics.) They're meant to be easily viewable and easily sharable as to maximize the number of people who view the trailer
and then hopefully get interested in the featured product.
- Clickwheel is building a collection of trailers for comics and video games much like Apple's Quicktime page is for
movies. It's the place to go for previews of all the hottest upcoming releases, and we want YOUR trailer in the mix!
- Who can upload trailers to Clickwheel?
- Anyone with a comic or video game trailer. You don't need to have an existing feature on Clickwheel or be previewing a Clickwheel piece. If you have a
trailer that our audience will dig we want to help you get the word out. Email us and we'll get you going.
- I don't have a Trailer but I want to make one!
- Good idea, it's a great way to build buzz around your project. Click here and we'll get you started.
- I'm interested in having my Trailer placed in the 'Featured' slot on Clickwheel.
- Well then, step into our office and we'll tell you how.
- Does it cost anything to run my Trailer on Clickwheel?
- Nope! We do offer premium space for a fee, but anyone can upload a trailer to the site where it will be available to all of our visitors and you can start using our tools to spread it far and wide for free.
